Any Questions?
Here are some of the questions we’re most regularly asked about the preventative maintenance plans we offer. If you have any other questions get in touch, we’d be happy to help.
What is planned preventative maintenance?
Planned preventative maintenance (also known as PPM) is proactive maintenance you carry out on a regular basis to make sure your ventilation system is running smoothly.
It’s the opposite of reactive maintenance, which takes place when you identify an issue with your ventilation system.
What takes place during planned preventative maintenance?
It typically involves checking the individual components, inspecting and replacing the filters, cleaning the vents and ductwork, and carrying out performance monitoring to ensure the ventilation is compliant with regulations.
How often should a preventative maintenance plan take place?
It depends on the type of ventilation system you have, the environment it’s used in, and how busy your building is.
If you get in touch, we’d be happy to advise how frequently you should carry out planned preventative maintenance.
What facilities benefit most from preventative maintenance plans?
Any building or business can benefit from planned preventative maintenance; however PPM is ideal if you need to avoid downtime. For example, schools, hospitals, care homes, or factories.
Are you also able to assist with any mechanical requirements?
Yes, absolutely! We can provide mechanical services as part of our installations, including but not limited to; LPHW, Chilled Water, 2 & 4 Pipe Systems, Chilled Beams and VRF/VRV/DX AC systems.
